What is NikkiikkiN about?
This my collection of cakes, sweets, parties and design. I am excited to share them with you and I would be even more happy if they were to inspire you to create something special yourself.
I have been full of creative energy for years and I always have a few projects in the works. Most of the time my projects are for the people I love, sometimes they are for other people who like what I do. Either way it makes me happy just to create.
Professionally I am an Interior Designer with a degree in Fine Arts. I have worked on projects for grand hotels and resorts, fast paced New York offices, retail showrooms and high end NYC residential homes. While I’ve put my interior design career on hold for a while, I still love the field. I will return to it one day soon and I’m thankful my education and experiences have influenced my design taste and creative eye in my other creative outlets. In tandem with interior design my love for other arts and crafts has always flourished too. One of my most loved disciplines is cake decorating, my SugarCoated projects are of all sorts but most often are children’s cakes. I am skilled in Paper + Fabric crafts and try to make each of my projects with them an experiment. I hardly do the same project twice. When I pull all of those crafts together I can create the most wonderful events and Celebrations, which I am honored to create for my friends and family.
I have many ideas and tricks up my sleeve and I will be working hard to regularly share my projects. I am also proud post about my family life in NYC. We are in love with living in Brooklyn and we never know what we will run across everyday. I hope that you will have a look around my blog and continue to check back often. If you see something you like and you think to yourself : “thats so me!” or “I can do that!”, then I’ve accomplished what I am here to do and I’d love to chat with you about it. Cheers! Nikki

Absolutely! I loved ordering from you, the invites came wrapped so pretty….and smelled like marshmallows from the scented paper packaging. Thanks for your kind words, my Manhattan Cowgirl post is my most viewed post, I wish you many orders inspired from it!

Hi Nikki,
I love your Dylan’s candy bar invitations and want to do the same for my daughter’s birthday party. Do you have specific instructions on how to set up the labels and also the invites? please advise…
Hi Iris, I made the labels in photoshop. But if you can work Word you can probably make them there too by importing a striped image and adding text boxes. The label size depends on what your envelope size is, google some examples to help as guide but there is no set size required to make it through the mail. Good luck, hope that helps!

Wow, this paragraph is pleasant, my younger sister is
